  • NEW PROTOTYPE OF MACHINE LE-MANS

The goal of the project was to design a new monocoque chassis frame able to race at the sports-prototypes at 24 hours of Le Mans.

Particularly involved in the analysis of all structural verification for the choice of the frame between an open or closed chassis shape, optimizing the number and orientation of the various ply of the two skins of the monocoque in carbone composite. All calculations were made ​​starting from a 3D shell models imported in a 3D FEA systems (Hyperworsk and Patran / Nastran) to make all the structural checks.

  • INTERNAL WORK FOR VERIFICATION OF FRAMES FOR SPORTS CARS

The goal of the project was to evaluate the overall stiffness and strength of a monocoque chassis in carbon composite.

The analysis was performed on the Ferrari Enzo produced by ATR cars, bicycle frames for Colnago and structures roll bar produced by Atr Carbon Composite...

All calculations were made ​​starting from a 3D shell model modified ad hoc and imported in a FEA software (Hyperworsk or Patran / Nastran) to carry out all the structural checks.
